Steel Skarecrow is a group of highly talented and experienced musicians from around the Wichita, Kansas area. The band has developed a unique sound, blending nineties country, modern country, red dirt, and southern soul into a distinct sound all their own. With two albums on streaming media services, everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the music of Steel Skarecrow. The band’s first two singles climbed into the top 70 on the Texas charts, with the third single to be released in November 2022. The band just completed its third album in October 2022. The band has recently performed with Tracy Lawrence, the Bellamy Brothers, Cody Canada, Eli Young, and Braxton Keith from Texas. Steel Skarecrow has been signed by CDX records in Nashville.
Steel Skarecrow shows are professional, upbeat, high energy, and fun! We love to interact with the audience, take requests, get to know people. Every cover song played at a Steel Skarecrow show will be recognized by most if not all of the audience, one they can can sing along with, and all of them are danceable.
Two Phenomenal Openers
Jordan Rainer: Dubbed as country music’s woman in black, Jordan Rainer is catching fire with audiences of all ages, backgrounds and musical tastes. With her witty lyrics, masterful guitar playing and unique voice, she has been embraced as a peer by respected artists and songwriters such as Dean Dillon (George Strait-The Chair, Marina Del Rey), and even wrote the title track Stained Glass and Neon with Dean Dillon for The Voice winner Sundance Head’s debut album.
Jordan Rainer teamed up with Texas artist Shayne Porter for the release of You Made A Rock. After just two weeks of its release to Texas radio, this duet is already climbing the Texas Regional Country Chart (currently at #88). She is celebrating her most recent nomination in not one, but three categories for the Texas Regional Radio Awards. Jordan is nominated for New Female Artist of the Year, New Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year for her Top 15 radio hit Damn Sandwich. This award show will be held March 26 and 27, 2023 at Texas Live in Arlington, TX.
Born in Atoka, OK and raised in Whitewright, TX, Jordan pulls her audiences in and has a knack for turning loud bars into a private showcase. Much like her music, her performance is an art form of its own. She wins crowds over with the energy and spunk she exudes while playing. She turns strangers into fans, and fans into an extension of her family, building an intimately connected and established base that will show up wherever she plays. With her intricate lyrics, masterful guitar playing and commanding voice, she is showcasing an artistic vision that will prove her to be one of country music’s keenest working storytellers, bringing honesty and raw intimate talent back into this genre.
Jake Bush: Army Veteran and Texas-based singer/songwriter Jake Bush makes traditional, down-home, rug-cutting, Country music. Since coming to the public’s attention with his 2016 Debut EP “Trying to Find Me”, Bush has proven himself to be a reliable honkytonk craftsman whose crowd-pleasing melodies can encompass the exact moment where 90’s country music collided with modern Country music.
Musical Achievements: Jake has shared the stage with Big & Rich, Josh Ward, Easton Corbin, Johnny Lee, Wade Bowen, William Clark, Randy Rogers Band and many more.
Jake’s song “Gravity and You” spent 21 weeks on the Texas Regional Radio Report and was his first #1.
“Better By the Beer spent 20 weeks on Texas Regional Radio Report and was his 2nd consecutive #1.
